Quite a few technologies are used. Many pages are not available to the general public. The old site had over 2000 pages and had been rewritten and slimmed down.
I develop many application web sites and web applications are one form. Some are complex and others fairly standard. But each website is based on Microsoft state of the art technologies. This allows for expansion/scalability later without redesign. So when the customer would like new features it's not a total redesign.Web security and secure areas are incorporated in the designs, using a variety of security technologies. It is always changing but great security is by design
