What's Up Lately.

Finished working for Microsoft and developing with the eHome group (Media Center). Completed working on Win7 the operating system after Vista!

I've been pretty busy lately developing ASP .NET 2.0 database driven web applications for Ecommerce and various organizations.

I'm also learning ASP.NET 3.5 and SilverLight 2.0, the next generation of web technologies.

This new site runs on an IIS version 6 and supports ISAPI, web services, ADO .NET, SQL 2005, AJAX, SilverLight and ASP.NET 3.5 web applications.

What this means is a lot more functionality can be added to an active web site including Ecommerce and secure user areas.

The web pages are typically written in C# and executed on the web server. Now that  web services and web applications are supported, they provide a rich backbone for any internet  based business.

ECommerce is supported inherently by Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 web applications, also known as intelligent business applications or database driven web applications.

CRM or (customer relationship management) software is the latest frontier in ASP .NET programming. This is the business automation software that tracks the company's customer interactions/transactions/events and provides insight into the current business processes for customers.

The results are a fast interactive web site that serves employees and customers with interactive content while managing the daily business/security. Also there is an executive dasboard and Ecommerce business back end that runs the business. These applications are also known as web based applications. Aptly named because you can run your business wherever there is a browser and internet connection.

I author web based applications, not HTML static websites like others. These applications are real business tools.
