About Kevin's Test Website
This site is used to test out various web technologies.
I develop web sites and web applications. Some are complex and others fairly standard. But each website is based on Microsoft state of the art technologies. This allows for expansion/scalability later without redesign. So when the customer would like new features it's not a total redesign.
Most web applications harness a business logic layer and allow business backends to operate the web site from any browser, anywhere in the world. What you see without elevated security levels is only a small part of the entire web site application. What you don't see is the business backend, which is used to control and manage the business. I use SQL 2005/2008 databases primarily for database driven web applications, because they are highly scalable and the availabilty of high powered tools.
Web security and secure areas are incorporated in the designs, using roles and memberships.
I also offer web application and web service client design.
